07 Nov: I've shifted the due dates for the projects and assignments around a bit, based on demand. I know this a busy time of term, so I'm happy to help in any way you need.
07 Nov: the fourth assignment is posted, due on 19 November.
12 Nov: the projects are due by the end of the day on Thursday (for non-challenge projects).
12 Nov: an interesting reading on safety in liquid-liquid extraction plants: a further reason for counter-current operations to minimize solvent use.
13 Nov: all the liquid-liquid extraction slides, including full solutions, are posted. In addition, here's another instructor's slides on the same topic - sometimes a different point of view helps to understand.
