* 17 Dec: the projects are completed graded and the exams are 85% completed. The grades should be available on Thursday or Friday.

* 18 Dec: the project grades are now entered; and the final exam grades are being entered at the moment.
* 18 Dec: the final grades are uploaded in Avenue in the column "'''Final grade for the course'''"
: To verify your overall grade, recall the discussion we had in class about the dropped 10%. As an example
:* Assignments = 80% [weight of 0.18]
:* Midterm = 70% [weight of 0.15]
:* Project = 85% [weight of 0.12]
:* Final = 75% [weight of 0.45]
:* Overall grade = (80*0.18 + 70*0.15 + 85*0.12 + 75*0.45) / 0.90 = 76.5, which is rounded to 77%
::This approach spreads the 10% overall all the items of assessment.
::Also note, the final exam was graded out of 80 points, instead of the allocated 90 points.
