Revision as of 17:03, 11 September 2012
We will start the course by looking at mechanic separations: i.e. separations where some sort of mechanical energy is added/used during the separation.
Class materials
- Slides for class (11 September 2012)
- YouTube video on hindered settling
- YouTube video on sedimentation lab tests
Interesting applications / Enrichment materials
- The sludge underflow (solid waste) from a wastewater treatment plant gets put to good use
- Wastewater treatment in a lab
