- 20 Nov: guest lecture, Robert Kulperger, Chemical Engineering alumnus from 1963 (note the date change to Wednesday)
- Robert (Bob) Kulperger founded a company in 1989 called Natural Chemistry Canada (pet, pool and spa formula products). The company has been expanded to include a broad spectrum of enzymes and has a manufacturing facility in Campbellford, Ontario and Syracuse, NY, and two more plants in the East.

- 18 Nov: here's an interesting article that discusses process operability, batch processes, monitoring and our next topic, troubleshooting in a single bioprocessing application. Although we've learned about distillation columns, flash drums and compressors, the topics apply anywhere.
