Step 1: Sign up to be a student member of the PEO (optional)

- Why? Gives you access to the student member PEO webpage with a fast and easy access point to information you need about the engineering profession and Professional Engineers Ontario.

Step 2: Upon graduation register for the Engineer in Training (EIT) Program (recommended)
- Cost: $84.75/ year
- Why? Please refer to the weblink below for all of the benefits of being an EIT and additional information on how to register.

Step 3
- Within 6 months of Graduation you can apply for the Financial Credit Program, in which applicants may be able to apply for PEO’s professional engineer licence at no cost. Also at no cost, individuals may register in the Engineering Intern (EIT) program for the first year provided they meet specific criteria established by PEO.
